Climate Policy Initiative (CPI)

Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) is an analysis and advisory organization with deep expertise in finance and policy. Our mission is to help governments, businesses, and financial institutions drive economic growth while addressing climate change. CPI has six offices around the world in Brazil, India, Indonesia, Kenya, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

In Indonesia, CPI focuses on supporting the climate goals and development objectives set by the government. As Indonesia’s climate commitments expand, most recently updated under its Enhanced NDC 2022, CPI’s work also has and will continue to reflect these important changes. Through its climate finance tracking, policy analyses, and advisories, CPI helps government stakeholders, businesses, and financial institutions in the country accelerate the transition towards net zero and climate-resilient economies.

CPI Indonesia works closely with strategic government partners, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK), and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI).
