Ann Margret Francisco is the Asia Pacific Director at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), where she leads the organization's regional strategy to accelerate wind energy deployment across Asia. She works closely with governments, industry, development finance institutions, and international partners to advance policy and regulatory reform, regional supply chains, energy security, financing, and industrial development for both onshore and offshore wind.

With 20 years of experience in the power sector, Ann has held leadership roles across the public and private sectors in electricity markets, renewable energy development, and strategic advisory. Before joining GWEC, she worked in energy trading, renewable energy project development, and consulting across wind, solar and hydro developments.

At GWEC, she has led several regional initiatives on offshore wind policy, auction design, port infrastructure, supply chains, socio-economic impact, and regional cooperation. She is a frequent speaker at international energy forums and is committed to advancing wind energy as a catalyst for economic growth, industrial competitiveness, and energy security across the Asia-Pacific region.
