Asvi Hanifah is the Indonesia Officer at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), supporting its programmes and activities in Indonesia. Before joining UNEP FI, Ms Hanifah worked at Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN), the main partner of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Indonesia. She has experience working in communications and stakeholder engagement and has an interest in economic and sociopolitical decision-making and perceptions of gender equality and social and environmental issues, including those related to just transition. Ms Hanifah has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pennsylvania State University in the USA and a Master’s degree in the psychology of advertising from Lancaster University in the UK.
