Dr. Napaporn Tangtinthai is the Director of the Climate Finance and Investment Subdivision within the Strategy and International Cooperation Division at the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE). She holds a Ph.D. from Newcastle University, UK, where her research specialized in system-wide policy analysis of construction materials, providing her with a deep understanding of sustainable resource management. Building upon over two decades of technical expertise in hazardous substances and environmental management at the Pollution Control Department, she has transitioned into a pivotal leadership role focused on mobilizing climate finance and investment. Dr. Tangtinthai currently spearheads critical national initiatives, including the development of Thailand Taxonomy Phase 2, serving as the Secretariat for the working group responsible for screening and reviewing projects for international climate finance, and supporting climate investments aligned with Thailand’s NDC 3.0 framework.
