Lia Nicholson is an experienced sustainability expert with a decade of experience at the interface of government, business, and civil society across the Caribbean, West Africa, and Asia Pacific to accelerate the net zero carbon, climate resilient transition.
Lia is Head of Sustainability at Terrascope, a SaaS decarbonisation platform. She has advised the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) - a bloc of 39 countries in the United Nations and spent several years with C40 Cities in West Africa, supporting mayors to prepare city-level climate action plans. Lia received a Master’s from Yale University, and met the late Queen of England in 2017 to receive a leadership award. Lia currently serves on the Technical Advisory Group of the Science-based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
