Rhodora Brazil-De Vera is the head of the sustainable finance unit under the SPRD. The sustainable finance team is involved in the issuance of policy initiatives (e.g., Sustainable Finance Framework), and coordination with counterpart local and foreign financial sector regulators/supervisors related to sustainable finance. The team is also involved in the development of the BSP’s Sustainable Central Banking Program and implementation of identified strategies and supporting initiatives.
She is also a member of the Philippine Sustainability Reporting Committee, which is tasked, among others, to issue implementation guidance on Philippine sustainability disclosure standards adopted by the Philippine Financial and Sustainability Reporting Standards Council (FSRSC).
