Suranjana Tewari is the Asia Business Correspondent for BBC News. She is based in the BBC News Singapore bureau and appears regularly on flagship programmes Newsday and Business Today.

Suranjana holds a master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS, University of London, and a law degree from the University of Newcastle.
She was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, and is strongly connected to her Indian heritage having spent a great deal of time living and working in India, where her family is originally from.
