Bio

Yvonne Zhang leads the Sustainability & Climate Risk practice for Deloitte South East Asia. She has been working with corporates to unlock value in doing business sustainably. Her current focus areas include carbon trading, clean energy transition, responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, impact financing, public policy advisory and advocacy.

Yvonne has more than 17 years' experience in building and trading financial & commodities products (metals, renewables, energy, agriculture) in global banks (Morgan Stanley, Societe Generale, ANZ), she led the development of commodities and digital assets at Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME) and founded start-ups to digitalise sustainable commodities trading and green financing.

Yvonne holds double degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Sydney. She is the deputy chair of ISO/TC 307(Blockchain) for Singapore, an expert contributor to standards making in sustainability reporting (GRI agriculture & fishing sector standards), cross-border terms of trade (International Chamber of Commerce Digital Standards Initiative), winner of the inaugural 100 Women in Tech Singapore and a fellow at Singapore University of Social Sciences.
